The Data Center's main focus is to work with the Colleague integrated database management system. Colleague is sub-divided into three application areas to best serve the College: Student, Finance, and Human Resources/Payroll/Benefits.

It is this area's responsibility to expand, control and maintain the computer equipment and network at each campus. The continually expanding network currently includes over 1200 workstations and 25 servers utilizing both fiber and Cat5 to form the network infrastructure. Online access for the college is provided by a 10mbps Opteman. Unix handles both the local area network and Internet services.
